Gerald McGeehan, Ph.D.

Dr. Gerald McGeehan is Vice President, Menin Program Team Leader at Syndax Pharmaceuticals. He specializes in research and early development, bringing a breadth of experience across multiple therapeutic areas over a 25+ year career.

Previously, Jerry held senior roles at Vitae and Dupont. His experience includes program initiation through clinical proof-of-concept, and a track record of successfully building and leading research teams. He has strategic and operational skills with the ability to deliver novel mechanisms for emerging areas. Jerry’s start-up experience includes building research and early development capabilities from the ground up.

Jerry received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Stanford University and his B.A. in Chemistry from Lafayette College. Prior to starting his industrial work he was an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the ETH in Zurich.
