David P. Brooks, Ph.D., FAHA, FAPS

Dr. David Brooks is founder of Brooks Consulting and brings more than thirty years of experience in high-value pharma to bear for Chimeron Bio.

David is an accomplished pharmaceutical executive and scientist with strong track record in both business development and drug discovery/development including negotiating numerous deals, building multidisciplinary teams, directing successful drug discovery programs and departments and establishing external partnerships with universities and bio-pharmaceutical companies. 

He is formerly the Sr. Dir, Scientific Licensing at J&J. He also held the role of Vice President, Cardiovascular and Urology Drug Development at GSK. David has contributed to the discovery and development of three approved drugs.  He has strong scientific credentials with an international reputation and over 200 publications.
